This is a photo of Manchester in winter, not outside but inside. This place is called “Chill Factor”. This was the only opportunity for me to see snow this winter.
Manchester didn’t do anything special on New Year Eve to see in 2008. In London, about 400,000 people celebrated it with a traditional firework display. According to MEN (Manchester Evening News), the council chief can’t trust crowds and booze. So, it was a quiet New Year Day here. I watched the countdown live concert by “Take that” on TV at home.
